Concerts in the Park

Assist in the set up, tear down and monitoring of the information booth. Greet visitors, hand out informational sheets, and answer event questions. Training will be provided.

Hands-on Art Volunteer

As part of Shoreline's Swinging Summer's Eve event taking place at Cromwell Park in Shoreline. ShoreLake Arts will have a hands-on craft tent set up potentially using markers, crayons, scissors, paint, and other art supplies. Volunteers are needed to assist in making the art. You will get messy. You will need to assist children with this craft. Training will be provided. You may do more than one shift. Volunteer forms for service hours will be completed by staff on site. This event is part of the Concerts in the Park Series.

Wednesday, July 17 4:30 - 8:30 (two - 2 hour shifts available)

Arts in the Park

A Celebration of Art in the Community
ShoreLake Arts' newest event needs volunteers to help make art, assist vendors, help at the event, and more. There are many opportunities for this event.

Saturday, August 10, 2-6 PM at Animal Acres Park in Lake Forest Park

Event Photographer

Provide your own camera (camera phones are acceptable). Must be able to upload photos to a shared Google Drive the day after the event. Must be willing to permit ShoreLake Arts to use photos without credit. If using an I-phone must be able to convert HEIC files to JPEG.

Community Partner's Event Help

Community Partner Event Help
ShoreLake Arts creates many events for the community and sometimes we participate in other organizations' events. At these events, we usually have an informational table and sometimes a simple craft or activity. These events are ongoing and pop up at various times of the year. The best way to learn about these opportunities is to email the Programs Director at Programs@shorelakears.org
Events include the Shoreline Historical Museum, Jazz Walk, Lake Forest Park Picnic, and more.

Student Arts Leadership Program for High School Students – 2024 PROGRAM APPLICATION NOW AVAILABLE

The Student Volunteer Arts Leadership Program is a great opportunity for high school students, college students, and young adults who enjoy making art and working with kids to earn between 30 and 140 service hours!

Spring Program Applications Due: March 1, 2024. Summer Program Applications Due: April 5, 2024.

If you enjoy the arts and want to make a difference in your community, we'd love to have you join us. We have a variety of volunteering options available - from helping set up and staff our events and classes to working in the office and helping remotely.

 

Many roles don't require any previous experience - just interest and enthusiasm. Full training and support is given.

 

You will enjoy working with a great team who take pride in learning

and supporting the creative talent in our community.
