Cheryl King is a PNW native artist living/working in Shoreline for the past 38 years but known across the world for her sensitive and lively portrayal of the animal kingdom. Using bold strokes and bright colors she creates art that celebrates and elevates animals. She has produced a kaleidoscope of products to choose from to fit all budgets: Original oil paintings, prints, glass cutting boards, home accessories and an exclusive clothing line showcasing her artwork. Wearable art at its most unique!
Cheryl believes in more than just creating art featuring the critters of the world. She donates a portion of her profits to animal conservancy groups as well as supporting our own Woodland Park Zoo and the Snow Leopard Trust which was founded in Seattle and continues today. These issues are vital to the creative force that propels Cheryl in her work. It is Cheryl's deep belief that we are meant to share this world kindly with all its denizens. Her constant goal is to honor this and take steps to make a difference.
With over 30 years experience, Cheryl is a highly collectable artist and is represented by Going to the Sun Gallery in Whitefish MT, Corwin Galleries in Hamilton MT and Matheson & Grove Fine Art in Penticton Canada. She is a member of American Impressionist Society, Women Artist's of the West and founder and fearless leader of the Washington Art Gang. Cheryl is married with grandchildren and is proud to have had a dog by her side every day of her life. Today she shares it with her devoted Boykin Spaniel Nugget.
