Call for Artists: 2021 Shoreline Arts Festival - Virtual Juried Art Show

All Shoreline area students (K-12) are invited to participate in the Youth Art Exhibition which is a favorite community tradition of the Shoreline Arts Festival. Artwork of any medium is accepted.

Does your group need help presenting an arts event that serves the community? We fund special projects, artists’ residencies, and performances that extend the group’s usual scope. Awards range from about $250 - $1,500.

Call for Artists: Small Works & Gifts

ShoreLake Arts is looking for local artists to display their handmade small works and gift items at the ShoreLake Arts Gallery in Lake Forest Park. We carry a variety of items and mediums – jewelry, sculpture, cards, miniatures, pottery, glass, metal, wood, scarves, purses, etc.

ShoreLake Arts offers funds (up to $300) for community art projects that are created by teens and promote diversity.

Call for Food Vendors: Shoreline Arts Festival

Coming: 2021

Come share your unique food and beverages at one of the keystone community events in North King County. Food trucks, trailers, carts, booths and tents are all welcome to apply.

Call for Artists: 6X6NW

Coming: July 1st, 2021

Art exhibition and fundraiser, 6X6NW  features hundreds of 6x6-inch works of art from artists locally, and all over the country, in all variety of medium. 

Registration usually opens in August, with the show at the start of October.

Part of our Dia de Muertos event. A group exhibition by emerging and established artists working in a variety of media to explore aspects of Hispanic Culture.

Call for Youth Artists

Coming: August 2021

An exhibition showcasing work from our own youth talent, based on what Dia de Muertos means to them. 2D & 3D work. Submissions can be everything from sketching, coloring, painting, digital, photography, a piñata, decorating with marigolds, altars, food art, painted sugar skulls (just to name a few). Get creative! Ages: From Pre-K - K12. 

Call for Altar Creators

Coming: August 2021

Ofrendas (Spanish: "offering") honor, remember and celebrate the lives of loved ones who have departed, and the items on the altars help to lead their spirits home for the Days of the Dead.

Call for Artists: 2022 Rotating Exhibitions

Deadline: October 31, 2021

 

We are looking for local artists to show in 2022 at the ShoreLake Arts Gallery in Lake Forest Park, a not-for-profit gallery featuring 5 – 6 week, two person exhibits with each artist showing on approximately 9 feet of wall space. The gallery schedule is set on a yearly basis.

The call is open to professional and semi-professional artists residing in Western Washington. ShoreLake Arts is passionately committed to antiracism. Artists who self-identify as BIPOC and/or LGBTQIA+ are strongly encouraged to apply.

Edible Book Festival

Coming: February 2022

The Edible Book Festival brings people together for a lighthearted culinary, artistic, and literary celebration. Creations made from food and inspired by works of literature. Virtual for 2021 to help mitigate the spread of COVID-19 and protect our community.

8X8Photo

Coming: Early 2022

Photography exhibition and fundraiser, 8X8Photo features hundreds of 8x8-inch photographs online from talent locally, and all over the country, all available to purchase for $36 each.
