DESCRIPTION
Get inspired by the many forms and colors of nature and create your own 6" x 6" mixed media work of art! Artist Nataliya Zigelboym will guide you through an exploration of nature-inspired mixed media materials and help you translate your artistic vision onto a 6" x 6" surface using fiber, watercolors, pastels, collage, and more. At the end, you will have a piece that you can proudly display at home or enter into ShoreLake Arts' 2023 6X6NW show!
REQUIRED SUPPLIES
6" x 6" surface of your choice to create art on. It can be a canvas panel, stretched canvas, hardwood panel, or watercolor paper. We recommend that you bring 2 or 3 of them.
INSTRUCTOR
Nataliya Zigelboym
Nataliya Zigelboym is an artist, fashion designer, educator and mother of two young artists. She has studied Architecture, Fine Arts and Design, and graduated with a MFA in Art and Design in Odessa, Ukraine. She has worked in the fashion industry for more than 20 years in Eastern Europe and New York City creating lines of women’s and girls’ clothing from concept/sketch/sample to order/production/sell-through. Now she focuses on teaching fine art and fiber arts in Seattle, New York City, and California. She teaches in public and private schools, camps and special events.
