About the Festival

Join us to celebrate Lunar New Year from 1 - 15 February.

 

Join us at 4pm, February 12 for a Lion Dance and Kung Fu performance. Enjoy the lanterns, local artwork, grab a craft brew at Monka, and a bite from a food truck, whilst listening to local musicians at Monka.

Food Trucks

Are you a Food Truck in the greater Seattle area that serves Asian Or Asian-fusion food? Please register your interest by applying within the link below:

Artists

We are looking for visual artists who self-identify as Asian who are interested in displaying their artwork at Monka Brewing for the months of February - March.

Performers

Seeking performing artists who self-identify as Asian, or practice traditional Asian music and/or dance forms to perform at the Lantern Festival.

Sponsorship

Are you interested in sponsoring the Lantern Festival? We offer a variety of ways to get involved with individuals, groups, and organizations.

Volunteer

ShoreLake Arts is a non-profit organization based in Shoreline and Lake Forest Park. Our volunteers make these events possible. We need help with set-up, info tables, workshops, clean-up & more!

General Info

Checking In & Unloading:

 

Food vendors must arrive by 3pm at the latest. 

​

Parking during the event:

 

Once you have unloaded, we ask that you park your car on nearby street parking.

 

Equipment: 

 

We do not provide any tables, chairs, or tents for this event. There is no power provided. Please be sure to bring your own portable power source if you need one (example here).

Booth Location:

​

Booth locations will be sent out 1-2 weeks prior to the event.

​

Amenities:

 

Restrooms can be found inside Monka Brewing.

​

Proof of Vaccine Required for Entry (ages 12+)*

Vaccine verification is required for all guests/vendors/staff ages 12+ in accordance with the King County public events mandate. Everyone in a party (ages 12+) must present proof of full vaccination* upon entry.

​Accepted forms of verification are:

 

  • CDC COVID-19 vaccination record card or photo of card

  • Printed certificate or QR code from MyIRMobile.com

  • Other official immunization record from within or outside the United States, including from your healthcare provider. A photo or copy of this card is also acceptable.

 

Alternatively, if you are age 12+ and unvaccinated or cannot prove full vaccination status, you will be required to show proof of a negative PCR COVID-19 test taken no more than 72 hours prior to your scheduled visit.

 

No vaccination or testing requirements apply to guests under the age of 12.

 

Masks Required Outdoors and Indoors (ages 5+)

*Fully vaccinated is defined as receiving a final vaccination dose at least two weeks prior to your evening of event entry.

**Per the public events mandate, masks are required during the event, both outdoors and indoors for all guests ages 5+. Thanks for masking up!
