Growing up in Seattle, I was surrounded by beautiful and diverse artists who influenced me to create extraordinary artworks in various styles. My art is flights of fantasy and snapshots of reality, moments of exhilaration and evenings of gloom. As an artist, I have struggled to "speak" with my art, and I realized later, as I was working with my own chosen theme of harshness and void, that art comes to me as a form of expression and a form of exploration. My paintings are just at the intersection of realism and abstraction filled with color and vibrance. Visual Art gives voice to my emotions, my fears, my wildest wishes, and my aspirations. Some artists like to have viewers think, I prefer to have viewers feel. Different mediums allow me to express different ideas.
