Laurel Mundy

I'm a wildlife & nature illustrator and I love to create art featuring native wildlife, plants, and scenery of the Pacific Northwest‚ in the form of original illustrations, cards, art prints, stickers, wood ornaments, calendars, and other goodies. From my background as a naturalist and biologist, my work is as scientifically accurate as possible, while highlighting local or regional conservation issues in a whimsical and fun way. I am inspired by my trips around the west looking for birds as well as visiting National Parks and other beautiful natural areas. Many of my illustrations of local sights are painted in-the-field while hiking. Each year I donate a small portion of proceeds from my sales to conservation organizations like Conservation Northwest, American Bird Conservancy, and Seattle Audubon Society.
