T. M. Originals

Tamera Mickelson, aka T. M. Originals, is a mixed media artist with a focus on 2-D designs. She is currently primarily working with watercolor mediums and embellishing with colored pencils, art liners & markers, pastels, ink, and whatever else feels right. She made the change from a focus on art jewelry to drawings and paintings after a lot of thought and being reminded every positive change in her life started with a great leap of faith. While she doesn’t work exclusively with cats as her subject matter, she does have kind of a Louis Wain fascination with them. The main driving need is to work with color, though block printing is also a passion and experimenting with adding color and multiple color prints is a source of joy. Some of her favorite themes are: space, retro cats, sci-fi, humor, sarcasm and puns!
