A northwest original and UW alumnus, Mandie blends skill and art with her background in graphic design and day job in landscape design. Her decades work of beading, wire-wrapping, and gemstone-designing is a reflection of these experiences. She will often be found deconstructing and reworking pieces in order to get sequence and proportions just right. Never one to shy away from exploring color combinations, sometimes all the inspiration she needs for making a new piece is simply the way in which the colors of her gemstones play off each other in their storage trays.
