Do you love to doodle, design fun fonts, or create unique collages out of found print materials? Are you interested in exploring the elements of visual storytelling and using them to create unique narratives, comics, cartoons, and even poetry? Are you entering grades 5-8 in Fall 2024? Then this Visual Journals and Zines ArtLAB is for you! Together we will explore using new tools and techniques in drawing, lettering, and page design to create a cohesive zine. The week will culminate with the publication of a collaborative zine and all artists will get a copy to keep.

This full-day ArtLAB will include supervised lunch and break times, and opportunities to work on art activities outside.
