Valencia Carroll is a classically trained graduate of the Gage Academy of Art - Aristides Atelier. She works in oil, graphite and charcoal with emphasis on fine drawing technique. She has exhibited, presented and taught throughout western Washington and currently serves as a PTA Art Docent Program Coordinator in the Washington state - Northshore School District. Her latest work involves completing a series of paintings that focuses on dolls and explores the subject of play as she stays true to drawing and composition throughout her process. She also created and recorded art activity videos for the Washington State History Museum's first virtual MLK event.
