In this 8-week hands-on art class, Syre students in grades K-2 are invited on a journey to learn about folk art traditions from around the world and from the Pacific Northwest! Students will gain a truly global perspective of art and build appreciation for the things that bring different people and places together.

Cartoon characters can take any shape and form that we can imagine. In this fun 8-week after-school art class, Syre students grades 3-5 will learn how to use essential drawing tools to create their own characters and stories. Then they will bring these stories to life with 2D and 3D art. Students will explore capturing expression, using angles to add excitement, bringing characters to life with motion, telling a comic story, and more!
