In this class, students go on a journey to learn about folk art traditions from around the world, maybe even in the Pacific Northwest! Students will gain a truly global perspective of art and build appreciation for the things that bring different people and places together.

Perspective allows objects in 2D art, like drawings and paintings, to look like real 3D objects in real 3D space. Students will explore different ways to use perspective to create depth and space in their art and make realistic images. Subjects include still lifes, portraits, and architecture.
