Students will learn about marine animals that live right here in the waters of Puget Sound and create colorful works of art that will inspire us to take good care of the ocean. Activities will include watercolor, collage, sculpture, and more.

**This program is taught by a professional teaching artist and is possible with volunteer support from St. Luke's parents. One volunteer is required for each class session, and families who register their students for this class will be asked to volunteer. The Volunteer sign-up sheet will be provided after registration.

Cartoon characters can take any shape and form that we can imagine. In this fun 8-week after-school art class, St. Luke School students grades 3-5 will learn how to use essential drawing tools to create their own characters and stories. Then they will bring these stories to life with 2D and 3D art. Students will explore capturing expression, using angles to add excitement, bringing characters to life with motion, telling a comic story, and more!
